NOTES TO PERMANENT SHOWROOMS

In support of your preparations for the upcoming International Casual Furniture & Accessories Market™, September 15-18, 2008, we would like to advise you of the following information.

CASUAL SHOWROOM PREPARATIONS
1. We are expecting very heavy truck traffic prior to the Market. You are encouraged to arrange for early shipments of your product and to make reservations for dock space/labor in advance. Please pre-order your dock labor, which will be available from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday (first-come, first-served). Contact our Dock Office at 312.527.7559 to arrange for this service.

2. The casual furniture showrooms have access to the dock and elevators on a daily basis. Hours for permanent showrooms are as follows:

• Monday through Friday – 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Saturday – 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• Sunday – Closed

3. Please have your work completed by Wednesday, September 10, 2008. Dock preference will be give to the temporary Market Suites beginning Thursday, September 11.

4. Please remember that large deliveries (those requiring carts and dollies) are not permitted to floors participating in the Market during show hours, as established by the International Casual Furnishings Association (ICFA)

• Monday, September 15 through Thursday September 18, 2008
• Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily

5. Many showrooms have utilized building property (such as carts, dollies, chairs, tables, etc.) and may have inadvertently retained such items. Due to our operational needs, beginning at 10 a.m. on September 8, we will canvass the floors to recover such items from your spaces and would appreciate your cooperation. In order to facilitate this, the equipment may be left in the hallway for pick up.

BADGES
For your convenience, there are no forms to mail or fax. Registration for Showroom Badges is done either online at www.merchandisemart.com (click on International Casual Furniture & Accessories Market – then click “registration”) OR onsite as described below.

Badges will not be mailed in advance of the show!

Register before the deadline by visiting us online at the address listed above. Click the “Registration” button and complete the form. When you have finished, click the “Accept” button at the bottom of the page and your Mart Card Bar-coded Confirmation page will appear. Print this page out. Bring your bar-coded confirmation to Showroom Registration, along with your business card and photo ID. The 2-D barcode contains all your registration information. When scanned, it will immediately print your badge.

PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEOTAPING & BROADCASTING
Photographing, videotaping, filming or sound recording is prohibited without the prior written consent of Show Management. Permission should also be obtained from individual exhibitors prior to the filming of their exhibit.

SHOWROOM RENOVATIONS
A newly renovated showroom can make an impressive statement at the 2008 International Casual Furniture & Accessories Market. The Mart Service Center and Construction Services Department can help make it easy for you. The Mart Service Center can assist you directly with smaller projects and maintenance upkeep such as decorating, carpentry, painting, repairs, part ordering and electrical work. SMOKING
Please remember that The Merchandise Mart is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the building, including showrooms, hallways and stairwells. Mart Security will be enforcing this policy so we ask that you please ask your staff and guests to step outside to a designated smoking area.
