Dear Architectural Digest Home Design Show Exhibitor:
We are so pleased that you’ll be joining us for the 2012 Show. Our team is hard at work preparing for a successful Show. In the meantime, this website provides information regarding set-up and logistics (Exhibitor Manual), Travel, marketing your involvement (Promote Yourself) and more.
Please review the information carefully and in a timely manner as there are significant cost savings for ordering things such as lighting, electrical, etc. in advance of the Show.
In the meantime, you’ll find key reminders below. While this information addresses some of the most frequently asked questions, we still encourage you to read the remainder of the manual.
KEY REMINDERS FOR EXHIBITORS:
IF YOU ARE EXHIBITING IN THE MADE SECTION (IF YOUR BOOTH NUMBER BEGINS WITH “M”):
Exhibit space in MADE includes the following:
-
10’ high finished white walls
-
White carpet
-
Black vinyl lettering identifying the Company Name and Booth Number
-
Aluminum truss above your space from which rented lighting may be affixed.
-
Supplemental lighting and electrical outlets may be ordered through the “Electrical/Lighting Order Form – MADE Section” under the FORMS section in the manual.
-
IF YOU ARE EXHIBITING IN THE STANDARD HALL (ALL SPACES OTHER THAN THOSE IN THE MADE SECTION):
-
Spaces less than 400 square feet and/or NOT an island configuration will include 10’ high hard walls which MUST BE TREATED with paint, wallpaper, etc. There are NO exceptions to this rule. If an exhibitor’s walls are not treated, Show Management reserves the right to have the walls painted with a neutral color and bill the expense to the exhibitor. Exhibitors will be required to pay this balance prior to Show Management allowing the space to be open to attendees.
-
Floor coverings should be provided by the exhibitors. Each exhibitor may opt to provide their own flooring or order carpet from GES (the Show’s contractor) through the “Carpet Order Form” in the forms section in the manual.
-
Exhibitors are strongly encouraged to provide their own flooring as opposed to renting carpet through the Show’s contractor.
-
-
Supplemental lighting is critical. Please review the Electrical/Lighting Order Form for a selection of lighting.
-
Under no circumstances are pop-up displays, skirted tables or draped backdrops allowed.
KEY REMINDERS FOR ALL EXHIBITORS:
